The first step is to find out where this hum / buzz is coming from. Disconnect your speaker from all other equipment, and reconnect one at a time until you find the culprit. By taking this systematic, step-by-step approach, you work the way up the signal chain, eliminating each piece of equipment as you go. You may be surprised to find that some digital TV or cable boxes generate excessive amount of line noises, and simply plugging your speaker to a different, isolated electrical power will eliminate this problem.

If you have nothing connected to the speakers and they still hum, try using an isolation transformer or power conditioners. This will help to reduce external noises. More often than not, humming and buzzing through your speaker is caused by a grounding problem. There may be ground loops, improper grounding, and lack of ground. The use of a properly grounded, high quality isolation transformer or power conditioner will greatly reduce these external noises.

If the above steps does not help reduce humming and/or buzzing noise when plugged in, you may have received a bad unit. Please write to our team at customerservice@arionlegacy.com and/or create a new ticket to get the speaker replaced.
